So, I have 9 days left to play in this generation. Seems like forever, but I’m sure I won’t get a huge amount of pictures from it.. (going to be a lot of fast forwarding and knitting, methinks…) In other words, this will be a short chapter.

We start off with Fetia’s first haunting. Aww, we miss you, girlie!

Then, she decides to leave us a crappy painting. Um.. thanks for trying? (At least she finished it..)

This paparazzi thinks it’s newsworthy that Jesse had to spray graffiti for 2 hours. I mean.. I guess??

Jaxson ages up to adult, which means he’s allowed to be kicked out of the house. I waste no time in finding him a new home in Sulani, and assure him his brother will be joining him within the week.

Jesse spends a lot of time knitting. He unlocked all the toddler onesies and made two baby onesies for Coty. This is a shot of Coty being thoroughly happy about the gifted onesies.

Jesse maxes his knitting skill, but I’m not sure he’ll get the aspiration done.

I keep forgetting Coty is a Glutton.. and then he does something like this. And I remember. Why did you guys pick him again?? LOL.

Tyson, if it’s so awful, WHY are you eating it? There’s plenty of non-spoiled food in the fridge, I promise you….

Coty, dear.. no fires, please. You’re a big boy now, and should know better! (Spoiler: no fire.. whew)

Jesse needs to teach someone to knit for the aspiration.. so Coty gets roped into learning the.. er.. strings? LOL.

… This is his first reaction. Not sure it’s because he has to pee.. or because he’s thoroughly confused. Could be both. Knitting isn’t easy…

-5 … Really, Coty?!?! You couldn’t walk 30 feet to get to the house to find your bed? Again, why was he picked?? (J/k you know I still love you, Coty..)

And… drumroll… This generation is officially OVER! Right after blowing out the candles, Coty proceeds to tick me off by stealing a piece of cake before he can put new candles on for his brother. Sigh.

And.. since I can’t control Jesse anymore.. Coty gets to cook it.

Finally. We kick out the last spare. sorry, Tyson, but Jaxson is lonely out there. =P

Jesse’s last action, his only free action as an elder: retiring. And just in case you’re not paying close attention to the pictures, it’s Harvestfest, too. We’ve been invaded by gnomes.

… Which brings us to the end of this chapter. I take some screenshots for posterity of Jesse’s stats:

Family Funds
Nope, we didn’t get that last aspiration complete. 😦 We got close, though.

I will stick my nose in here to mention: I COULD have used all Jesse’s points to buy youth potions and passed them down to Coty… but I didn’t want things to be “too easy”.. so Jesse gulped down his last saved-up potion moments before Coty aged up (so maybe he’ll get to see his first grandkid..) .. and I never spent any of Jesse’s points on anything but youth potions. All but one of them were drunk by him, too. (The last one burned up in a fire, if you remember. RIP.)

I didn’t work too hard on promotions for him, but then I didn’t feel the need to.
Skills
159 Days. And he started as an elder. Not bad.
And that’s another +10 for money earned…

Time to count up points.

Anyway.. despite the lure to start the next generation right away, I will probably wait until the next time this story comes up in the posting rotation to start. At least, that’s the plan. (LOL)

Now, as of last chapter, I had assumed the eldest (Jax) was heir. But I was apparently quite wrong, because I had forgotten the heir poll. Heir poll has been completed – and Coty won. So much for best laid plans. I guess I have two weeks more than I thought I did to play before we get a new Torch Holder. I did my best to get through as much of it in one play session as I possibly could… but it’ll take one more session before we’re through. So there’s that. Here’s what happened:

We start with the featured photo of Fetia cooking. Why is she cooking? Because she wants my hair to be as grey as hers is. LOL. Ok, so no fires happened.. but they could have. And that’s the problem.

What does Jax think about not being heir?

…. Let’s just say he doesn’t look impressed.

I’m not 100% sure Coty expected to win, either. However, taking a closer look at him, he’s not a half bad looking sim. I mean – he needs a makeover, but doesn’t every sim dressed by EA randomizers?

We immediately start working on Jesse’s current aspiration, which is painting, and he needs three more masterpieces. This isn’t one of them.

Okay, who broke the computer?? (And didn’t fix it!?)

Thanks, Tyson… but sorry, the heir poll is over. You had no chance.. sorry.

Tyson: “Awww… darn. … But ..what if I help out more?”

Me: Nope. it’s done.

I guess Jaxson is giving up on his career. He’s decided to teach himself guitar instead of cooking. LOL. (And he’s NOT good)

No idea why this neighbor woman just invited herself in.. but okayyy….

Then she decides to start a painting with a lump of clay. And never finish it. Thanks. I think. At least she takes the clay with her.

Happy New Years! Apparently only Jesse and Jax are interested in celebrating.

Hey! I see that embarrassed moodlet! -5 .. The future TH peed himself.

Okay, so this isn’t looking good for me. -5

Hurry, if you’re in the room, take cover!

They’re both miserably sick.. one has spots, the other has stripes.. and yet BOTH see the need to cook dinner. And neither is a chef. (AND there’s food in the FRIDGE, guys!!) I checked.

Jax’s turn. Maybe I need a second bathroom. -5

Tyson.. why are you in your brother’s bed?? .. NM I don’t wanna know.

Food party. While Jesse’s home. So I invite them in. Maybe the “kids” will stop cooking for themselves then.

Someone got sparkly.

… So, um.. yay? I turn off the celeb walk, because it’s just annoying.

Jaxson is apparently all about the arts these days. Now he’s learning painting. But at least he finishes it.

Hooray. Finally, a masterpiece.

Then, Coty gets this notification. I decide he would take the encore… so he gets a promotion. He’s unlikely to get another until he takes over the Torch.

However, he is obsessed with cooking lately. Which is good and bad. There seems to be a line for the stove in this family.

Then:

That’s one done! +5

That’s two! +5

And this one counts as four… because I hadn’t clicked on this one at all before. +20

In the interest of getting another milestone, I have him read three books for the first for Ren. Sim. +5

It’s Love Day – and since it’s likely Fetia’s last Love Day, I let Jesse go all out on celebrating it. We give her a Lily..

Romance her a bit…

… And take her to the restaurant on a date.

Which is where I notice that I never set aging for the other sims in the world to “On” .. how.. annoying. I fix it.

They have dinner, and complete a gold date.

Then, just because Sulani is gorgeous, I have them renew their vows.

Congrats, you two. Such a cute couple, and Fetia has been an amazing spouse.

I’ve run out of easy to get milestones. And I’m bored. LOL. So I start him on the knitting one. +5

See? He made a rug. Among other things. And he sells one on plopsy. +5

Tyson apparently likes METAL, too. LOL.

This is proof he did show off his sweater successfully. Right after this.. he glitches. And gets stuck as a “neighbor”. The only way I know of to fix it is kick him out of the house and invite him back in… so I start to do that.

… And while he’s out of the house.. Fetia dies. He gets invited back just in time to NOT have time to plead for her life with Grim. Sigh. Poor Jesse. The love of his life is gone. How sad. *frowny face*

I put her here, next to her bed, so Jesse can keep her close.

Apparently, Grim is a fan. ROFLMAO. Too funny. I couldn’t resist giving him an autograph.

And.. the second potion Jesse has needed tonight. He has some 20,000 points banked, plus another potion on the wall, and he should only need the one more potion I think. If that. I’m considering making Coty get his own darn points and keep the challenge difficult next generation by sending Jesse to his grave with all his points and potions…. but I haven’t quite decided yet. I still have 9 days to play… which is far better than the 21 I had when I started. Checking on our funds made:

Nope. Still at only 200k.

Chapter 1.6 | Generation #1 Heir Poll

I’m not going to list all the points these guys have until the end of the post (because who needs that whole list to start with…), but I will note our starting total – which is 160. Not too bad, really. Also: fair warning, this is a fairly long post. I didn’t feel like splitting up the play session.. and I swear I stopped earlier than planned, hoping for a decent amount of pictures. Not the case with this family. Too photogenic. *wink*

We start the post off with Jesse finally remembering to drink some of his celebrity serums.. and pulling a fan mail box out of the mailbox. Love the movie reference there, EA. And what was in the box? … A spoiled Salmon. Yum.

Fetia decides to use the couch for a nap instead of her bed.. but at least she’s not passing out on the floor!

Jesse, chatting with Coty. While Jax walks by in his shades. No idea where he’s going, though.

I interrupt his chat to put him back to work.. we have 5 masterpieces we need for the aspiration. Spoiler: this isn’t one of them.

The twins.. both are being productive.. sorta.

While Jax sits at the computer simply staring at the wall. Silly Sim.

I’m not sure what she’s cheering about – and Jesse looks confused, too. Can’t blame the guy. Random cheering is weird, EA.

Tyson decides to play the guitar. But at least he’s getting better. It doesn’t hurt my ears as much as it did before!

Why is everyone napping in the middle of the night instead of going to bed???

You know, Tyson, you can’t really complain about having to pee really bad when you’re the one who decided to get a glass of water instead of going to the bathroom. Now it’s too late, because the one bathroom in the house is taken! (Luckily, he gets there in time.. eventually.)

… See? Also: apparently Coty decided he needed some music time, too.

Random picture of nothing except for a leftover bowl of chili and Tyson’s abandoned homework. How is he supposed to turn it in when he leaves it on the table??

On the whole, Jesse seems to be truly loving his ISBI experience.

Fetia… not so much. I have to wonder if she’s regretting her choices.

But at least she’s a good sport about it. Here she is cleaning a shower that has auto-clean upgrade on it. Useful.

Coty comes home from school enraged. Poor guy. At least we’re able to calm him down, though.

Aha. Masterpiece #1. I love that gnome painting.

The real reason Fetia’s having a bad day.. she’s sick. While Jaxson thinks it’s appropriate to talk about the mile high club with his sick mother. I had to screen capture just to get the thought bubble because it was so funny.

Finally. The boys decide to sleep in their bed at night instead of napping.

Granted – they went to bed at like 8 o’clock and are now up early.. but at least they slept.

Coty!! Idiot cooking is not allowed in this house!

And then he leaves it on a broken stove… while Fetia starts cooking on her own, too. I swear there’s good food in the fridge…

At this point, I double check the fridge. Yes, there is food in there. STOP TRYING TO COOK!!!

Jesse fixes the broken stove.. and then makes everyone French Toast.. which nobody bothers to eat. Sigh.

They finally find the leftovers in the fridge. Why it took them that long, I’ll never know!

Jesse needs to use one of his “banked” Youth Potions.

So I buy him a replacement.

Just as a preventative measure – I have Jesse make some more food for the fridge. (While Fetia continues to be an awesome ISBI spouse and clean the house.)

Spoiler: making food did not help the cooking situation. Sigh.

Wait.. the entire family is in one place at the same time? *gasp* .. Amazing!

Tyson, mortified, taking a shower. Apparently I missed it, but that big puddle is because he peed himself. And then got his privacy invaded. Luckily he lives through the experience.

One of the teens keeps setting the table…. but I’m not sure who. I have yet to catch them at it.

Fetia, honey, I admire your tenacity, but that’s not going to help the situation ….

So I send Jesse on a repairing spree to save poor Fetia. Spoiler: fixing the game system didn’t un-stuck the TV.. I had to reset it.

(Because Jesse needed fun.) I didn’t tell the boys to do their homework, either. But they seem to do it one their own each day, now. Good job!

The one and only time this week the neighbors show up with free food.

Jesse promptly ignores them and heads back to the easel.

But at least it pays off. One part of the aspiration done!

.. And that’s Masterpiece #2. He’s been painting ALL the time, and he’s only on his second one. He’s really not very good at this.

In the morning, Jesse gets this announcement. Level 10 career, yay!

Paying Monday’s bills.. and getting some spoiled cupcakes from fans. Jesse, dear, you need better fans.

Finally.. it’s that time!! (Also.. what spice, exactly, are you adding to a chocolate cake?)

Fetia helps cheer Coty on as he ages to Young Adult.

Here’s his roll. Great. A Klepto. Going to have a lot of dirty plates after this generation!

I use his free action to get his entertainer career.

Tyson’s turn.

A Social Media loner? .. Interesting. Oh, and this means +20 points for positive traits earned by NTH’s. Woohoo! Also, I get Tyson his career as soon as he’s done aging up. While playing this week, it occurs to me that I kinda randomly “decided” (read: assumed) that Jax was our heir.. without ever running an heir poll, and without the first born being an heir being in the rules. I will rectify that after this post by running an heir poll so we can have an official heir.

The one time Jesse has to leave home this week to “work from home” – he needed to use a bubble blower, and I refused to buy one for their home.

… And THIS is why we don’t like idiots cooking. Sigh.

Both Jesse and Fetia run to put out the fire, while Tyson glares at them. While playing, I wondered who the random guy outside the window was.. and why he and a friend ended up wandering around the house (I sent them home.)

Turns out, I noticed in this picture I have a smoke alarm – they must have been out of uniform firefighters. This picture, however, was taken of the worst fire casualty – one of the Youth Potions got torched!! 😦

Tyson, who is still complaining. This time, he’s complaining because he can’t use the bathroom for his shower.

.. Because Fetia beat him to it. This is what he gets for being a slowpoke.

By the way, Fetia and Jesse are still adorable together, and still in love. She really has been a great spouse!

… Even if she seems to cheer herself on for winning a multiplayer game she’s playing by herself. LOL.

Apparently the game wore her out.

Happy birthday, Fetia!

Welcome to elderhood!

The next day also happens to be Winterfest, so I have everyone work on the tree. If you look closely in this picture, you’ll notice that Jax is doing the “pee pee dance”. No worries, though, he makes it in time despite helping with the tree.

BAD TYSON! No. More. Cooking.

You, too, now Jax? At least Jax works in the culinary field.. so he has an excuse. Also: neither brother actually eats what they cook, so what, exactly, was the point?!

Jesse makes a festive ham dinner for everyone, and calls them to the table.

So everyone gets to actually eat a family meal together.

After dinner, I have them all open presents, with varying degrees of success. However, we have over 100k in the bank, so I’m not particularly worried about what they got, and I don’t even bother to go sell it.

Jesse gets a Motion Gaming Mat from Father Winter. Although I still haven’t decided whether I’ll actually put it out for them. It tends to be a sim-magnet, and I’m not sure I want that.

Fetia decides to take a nap on the neck mid-monsoon/thunderstorm. Luckily the roof is covering her.

That’s a first. I’ve never seen Father Winter randomly start painting before.. have you?

.. Here’s what he’s painting. Had to take a picture because I was curious.

And this is what he left us with. You can just see him escaping the house in the background of this picture. Thanks, Santa. A half-completed painting is JUST what I needed.

Yep, Tyson was cooking… again. At least he didn’t set a fire this time.

Fetia looks adorable as an elder, I think. Too bad she won’t live until the next torch holder takes over, probably.

… and here’s Masterpiece #3. Jesse is VERY slow at masterpieces, because we spend a good portion of the week painting, and he still hasn’t finished the aspiration.

I take the time to sell off the stuff in family inventory, which puts us at around 130k in the bank.. and then, I check for more points in the achievement panel. No luck. Time to count up points for the session…

First thing I did this update: spend some of the 20k they had in the bank to upgrade the house a bit, since Tyson and Coty are now teens and we won’t need “kid stuff” in the house for quite a while. Here’s the facelift pics:

Master bedroom

Upstairs loft – for the twins

Another view of the loft

Jaxson’s new downstairs room

Bathroom got a bit of a facelift, too

.. And then I start playing.

Ohhh… Tyson, don’t start this out with a fail please.

“No worries. I got this.”

(He makes it.)

His mind is clearly not on his homework, though. Fetia, however, is all-in on this helping thing.

Jax is doing his homework, while Coty is doing his best to distract him. Not helpful, Koty.

“Sorry…”

Fetia finds the new dartboard. For that matter, I think she’s the only one this update who actually uses it.

Fetia is clearly living her very best life. And LOVING it. (And that’s Jax’s homework that he left behind when he went to school.)

We pay the bills, publish some books.. and –

We’re three star celeb now!

Just another day working from “home”. Had to go study art at the Art Center.

Poor Coty did not come home in a good mood, so Jesse is trying to help. The pouty face is kinda cute, though.

Tyson, no making that face when you’re the one who CHOSE to do that.

“But… working out SUCKS, watcher.”

Still, you did it on your own!

Homework time. The wide angle shot is because this is the first time I noticed that blue couch is semi see thru on the back… kinda cool!

Fetia decides to go swimming. And clearly, the new ladder is useful to someone.

No idea who this chick is. She just wandered into the house, and started playing violin. BADLY. Earplugs, anyone?

We start trying to get the twins, one at a time.. to level 3 in a skill. All the chatting doesn’t help Coty get there, though.

On one side of the room divider…

… on the other. Go twins!

Another food bringing party.

Coty: “Duurrrr… I be sleepy.”

Too sleepy to have a brain, it seems by the face. I relate.

The next morning, Coty is up bright and early and cleaning house.

Jesse makes breakfast….

And gets level 10 cooking. Too bad it doesn’t help us in points.

Time for another potion.

.. Replaced it …

Jesse: “Why do I have to fix this thing??”

Well, one, you broke it. Two.. Watcher can’t stand that beeping/buzzing noise a broken computer makes.

It’s the weekend, so we get Jesse back on the Logic skill train. This is Coty finally getting his Level 3.

… Jaxson tries to calm himself down in a mirror. Luckily, it works.

Tyson’s turn for Logic. Since he’s being awful slow on skilling himself on other things. We finally get him to level 3…

Only to have him immediately start working out.

Coty decides to teach himself Research & Debate. (While in the background, we finally are getting Tyson his level 3 skill.)

Hey, no complaining about the poor quality of the food when you’re the one who chose to make it and force me to worry about a fire. When there was food in the fridge.

Jax: “($*&*%&% this tastes horrible…”

The boys all come home from school…

And I can celebrate with +10 to points!

It’s that time….

Happy birthday, Jax!

+10 for positive traits, -5 for negative. I’m not sure whether to be happy or sad. LOL. And I quickly use his free action to get him a Culinary job. Doubtful he’ll get much in the way of promotions.. but he’ll get a job there anyway, since he rolled for it. Nice mix of traits, though. I approve. Very nice future Torch Holder! (On that note, now we only have 23 more days to play before we can switch Torch Holders!!!!)

… Thanks, Tyson. -5

Tyson. You’re supposed to go to BED after passing out on the floor, not eat dinner. … And Jesse’s been getting packages in the mail from his fans. One of them included a Lump of Clay. Another was a Future cube. Jax finds the Clay almost immediately.

The two teens simultaneously start a phase that they want to play instruments.. so I buy one. Tyson finds it first.

… This is the second time this update I’ve had to stand Jesse in the rain, painting, waiting for a second performer in the Arts District for “home” work. Sigh. It’s a wonder he didn’t get pneumonia!

… Really? Level 3 guitar already? … Why did I make you get level 3 in Logic then?

“Hey, you CHOSE to, Watcher..”

I keep forgetting to mention one of Jesse’s fame perks is the mailed serums. Never noticed the “consult a dr. if this effect lasts more than three hours.” on the flirty serum, though. That’s freaking hilarious.

Yup, it’s harvest fest. And apparently the nekkid gnome likes toys.

Coty finds the guitar.

A grand breakfast for the whole family… except Jax.

.. Who shows up late from his nap, and gets leftovers from the fridge instead. Also: that’s the last pic of the gnome. I sell them after this.

+5 for milestone. Also: I think I’ve been counting the points wrong for these. They’re supposed to only be 5 points, I’ve been counting 10. I will adjust scores when I get there in a second.

+20!!! Woohoo!

Who’s Crazy Now? – Chapter 1.5

Chapter 1.4 | Chapter 1.6

Since the last post got too long, I decided to split it into two. So here’s part two…

We start with Tyson deciding bear form is far superior to human. And I really ought to hide those paints the kids keep finding. LOL.

… Maybe the bookshelf was a bad idea. Now there are books all over the house!

Another food-bringing party. The neighbors in Sulani are so nice!

Jesse’s “life was ending” so… time for another potion.

We bank another one to replace it.

I find out that the bookshelf being next to the computer is a bad idea. It keeps distracting him, so I move it to by the TV.

Meanwhile, Jesse gets some more fame points.

Really, Jax? … Sigh. Our first fail this session. -5

Jesse needs a kid to max a skill for his aspiration, so we start “forcing” Coty (who’s the closest to level 10) to play with the dollhouse with dear ol’ dad.

It’s Love Day. So we get some more satisfaction points by wooing Fetia all over again. Then write a Romance book about it. Because – why not?

Then.. I decide since we have the money, I might as well add a room for Jaxson, since he’s a teenager now. Here’s pictures of the remodel:

It’s basic as heck right now.. but he’s got a new bed and a loft to himself. And if you look closely, you can see I bought them a new TV, too.

The kids come home from school…

And I have +10 points. Unhappy kids, but that’s ok. They’ll live.

Fetia decides to chat Jesse up while they’re playing dolls.

… And.. Success! I also check the kids’ aspirations, and it turns out Coty only needs two more chess games.. so I get him those before putting him to bed. Somehow, I forgot to take a picture of it, though.

So this picture of his satisfaction points will have to do.

… I got tired of the toilet breaking. So I bought the unbreakable one. And upgraded the sink. Then, of course, Jesse had to upgrade them with auto-clean.

Jesse now needs a kid to have an “A” in high school. But Jax doesn’t have the skills for it. So we torture him with chess for a couple days over the weekend. (LOL @ Jax’s bedtime shades.)

There. Now he can get an “A”. We just have to wait for Monday.

Sure, kid. Hug your twin brother. In the mess. As you do.

Coty’s turn for the bear suit. So funny!

It’s rebate day.. so I buy them (read: Jesse) a new computer.

And he puts it to good use right away.

… With his final writing skill point.

Monday after school, Jax comes home mortified, to my terror. I quickly send Jesse over to have him “work out his problems” by redirecting them. Hopefully that’ll get rid of the Mortified mood. Because that’s terrifying.

However, I did get the “A” Jesse needed for his aspiration!

Yeah, Jaxson, work off those pounds.. and the mood. Please. (Spoiler: he survives. Doesn’t lose any weight. But he survives.)

I have Jesse “immortalize” himself a second way. And he’s sick when we get the picture, which makes it all the funnier. He also wrote a biography, which probably counted for those +5 points, too… but I wasn’t going to assume that was enough.

Plus, I wanted something to hang on the wall for posterity.

.. Forgot to snap a picture before he finished blowing out the candles. And I about DIED laughing at the Master Vampire thing. SO not going to happen, Coty.

And he kept his hair color!!

Tyson’s turn. Note the filthy sink behind them. Clearly, I forgot to autoclean upgrade that one.

Well, that’s.. interesting.

And.. here we go with the hair color thing again. Oh well, he’s cute, at least.

We have Coty use his one teen action to get the job he rolled for.

.. Haha. Poor kid.

And here’s where I leave you. Just for grins and giggles (yeah, I know that’s not how that line goes.. LOL), I post how far Jesse’s gotten in his aspiration points:

(I only have room for the four potions on the wall!!) … and his job:

What a FUN play session!

Final tallies: rosebud says we’re at 65k earned. woohoo! Not enough for points, but still they’re not hurting for money anymore. And Jesse completed several milestones. … Counting them up, he’s got 7 new ones. The first one for Fabulously Wealthy, the second two for Super Parent and Successful Lineage, the second one for Big Happy Family, and the third for Writing. Which is +70 points. Here’s the points tallies.. we’re at 225 points, which is amazing! (despite the one fail we had… grumbles..)

Chapter 1.3 | Chapter 1.5

Welcome back to the madhouse! I have apparently lost some footage of this family, so I’ll recount aspirations for Jesse for points – he’s got 12 milestones complete – The first one on three of the parenting ones, all four of Soulmate, the first two of both painting and writing, and the first one for fishing. Which puts our points at:

Any fails that happened in that time, I guess I’ll just ignore… but it wasn’t much playtime, so I don’t think I missed much. Anyway. On we truck. The first thing I notice is I completely forgot a roof on the addition. Not to mention, Maxis’ original roof is driving me bonkers. So I fix it. And add a few windows. And buy Jesse an easel so he can stop running down the road. Which puts us down to 315 Simoleons. Ugh. Oh, he’s at 34k simoleons earned so far. Doesn’t feel like it. But that’s what the Rosebud Achievement says.

Upon loading the save, the first thing I notice is that I forgot to roof the addition. And I hate EA’s roof on the rest of the house. So I fix it.

Man, Sulani really is gorgeous. It’s almost too bad they don’t do much outside the house in this save, because Jesse is always working on his aspirations, and I can’t control anyone else.

Jesse’s first action.. fixing the sink. While Fetia showers. Hey, priorities.

..Then she goes for an ocean swim. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the shower??

She cleans the tub while Jesse is back working on aspirations/money making. When I fixed the roof, I spent a bunch on windows, too… and so they’re poor again. Or still. I’m not sure which.

Fetia decides to do something useful. I think.

The kids. Jesse really made some cute boys. Coty’s the one in the hat, Tyson is the blonde, and Jaxson (the first born) is the redhead.

Oh, good job. You broke it.

They’re all pretty good at doing their homework. And if they forget, Jesse is sure to remind them. Gotta get those points from grades, you know.

Another food-bringing party. Sure, guys. One less thing Jesse has to cook. Welcome!

Working from home can sometimes be annoying. Jesse has to go use a bubble blower in the Myshuno winter. Fun.

Aww.. Thanks, Coty! Too bad that mop is as big as you are!

… That’s a rain puddle, Fetia. Although I guess you get brownie points for trying. LOL.

Coty without his hat for a change.

Happy New Years! I really need to buy them a better TV.

Putting the kids to bed.

Happy birthday, Fetia! Welcome to adulthood!

I decide the plumbing needs auto-cleaning. All of it.

Was your birthday really that bad?? I mean, all you have to do is wander around and see to your own needs.. so what could be so bad about that??

Happy prank day! *chuckles* At least Jesse seemed to enjoy learning Mischief skill on his kids. (They get offended WAY less easy.)

Working from “home” again. Gotta review a performance.

More autocleaning.

Fetia, you really don’t have anything better to do than WATCH Jesse write books?

Jesse needs to help kids with homework for one of his aspirations… so everyone is getting homework help all of a sudden. They don’t seem to mind, though.

Yay! it’s age-up time for Jaxson!

… interesting trait roll.

… And that’s the second time a kid has aged up into the wrong hair color in this save. Erm. OK. Jax.. you’ve been putting on the pounds, I see.

ROFL. He’s pretty proud of himself, though, it seems.

And… since this is as good as place as any.. I’m going to split this post here. It’s about half of the monster post I was ending up with… so I’ll tally points in the next part. However, best thing I can say: no fails so far!! Yay!

Who’s Crazy Now? – Chapter 1.3

Chapter 1.2 | Chapter 1.4

Welcome back to the madhouse! We are currently at -35 points with aspirations uncounted. I’ll rectify that at the end of this post.

We start with Jaxson growing up! So, finally, we’re down to only two toddlers. He got the Happy Toddler trait, which is +5 points, and maxed the potty skill, communication, and movement. So +15 for those. Grows up with the Genius trait rolled in.

.. Still working on those books.

… Or.. well, we were. Little Tyson looks concerned for Dad.

But not for long. -5

Ahh… life in an ISBI. Broken sink, stinky toddler.. gotta pee… always something to be done. Here we are trying to get Coty to max his potty skill.

Work required some paintings.. and this picture is how I noticed that I didn’t remember to put the stilt foundation in on the addition.

Sleeping with my Gnomies?? (Yup, it’s Harvestfest.)

.. I just realized this post is just a bunch of fails. With very little else. I apologize! – 5.

I swear, he does something other than fail. See.. he made that dinner.. and the toddler’s eating.. and the other one is in bed… Jesse just didn’t make it there himself. – 5.

Drinking potion #2. He doesn’t look like he enjoys it.

Coty looks on as Dad passes out yet again. Jaxson is being awesome and cleaning up.. and it looks like Fetia is literally just standing around. Thanks, hun. -5.

Coty All grown up. He also got Happy toddler and three skills maxed, I just don’t remember which ones other than the Potty skill. +20! There’s no cake picture.. because, well, with Jesse passing out all the time, I never got to the cake… Sorry, kiddo. Rolls Perfectionist.

Tyson grows up.. and is Blonde??? He maxed two skills and got Happy toddler. so +15 from him. Note: puddle is from broken fridge. He rolls the Glutton trait.

I was trying to wait for an Arts Quarter performer in a snow storm.. but Jesse had other ideas. We did finally find one. But Had the one fail to show for it.

Finishing up the dates for the Soulmate aspiration.. and in the middle of a date, Fetia passes out. Way to go, watcher. (Me) I forgot to watch her needs. Kinda cute that the rest of the family is in the picture, too.

Decorating the tree for Winterfest. All the kids are helping. Fetia should be, too.. but instead she’s busy stealing Jaxson’s bed.

Sigh. Here we go again. -5.

Banked a new potion.

.. and a third..

.. And we end up with four saved up.

And.. time to add things up! That’s -40 just from passing out. Sigh. But at least we got +55 from the kids aging up. Also, +10 for finishing the Soul Mate aspiration. Going through and counting up his milestones from all his aspirations, he’s got 9 of them complete (not counting the last one on Soul Mate). – Milestones are as follows : the first two for painter, the first two for writer, The first one for Serial Romantic, the first three for soulmate, and the first one for Angling Ace. All of that puts us in the positive. Woohoo!

Who’s Crazy Now? – Chapter 1.2

Chapter 1.1 | Chapter 1.3

Since I forgot to put the points earned on the last post, I’ll note for posterity that I’m currently at +5 points, for the single birth. I completely forgot to count the milestones that Jesse has gotten to, so I will count them up at the end of this play session’s posts (I played two updates worth). I will note when I’m counting them up in the next post. Oh, and the title pic is a duplicate picture.. just to show you what I dealt with this whole update. A preview of coming attractions, if you will.

Anyway. Here we go!

We start out with a sweet moment between Jesse and Fetia. I do most of their dates at home so I don’t have to leave the munchkin with a sitter.

And.. since we need two kids for an ISBI.. we try for baby again.

Success! Jesse is, apparently, too busy to care.

.. Or maybe just too tired. -5

Banked another potion!

The toilet wasn’t broken… so why the accident, Fetia? Thanks for the -5.

Clean toddler! Jaxson is just so cute, I can’t get over it.

See? NOW the toilet is broken. And no accidents.

Another food-bringing party.

Baby time!

Ohhh… no. *facepalm* .. REALLY!?!?! Twins! +10! Meet Coty and Tyson (both boys).. and no, I don’t know which one is which.

Painting an emotional painting while waiting for a performer to review for a work at home task in the art district.

Banked another one! (Also, I apparently had to have him drink one and didn’t take a picture.)

… -5 thanks to the twins.

Jaxson.. where are you going, son?

Working on some good books for the aspiration.

Awww… look they’re all sleeping together. -5.

-5 …. and here’s where I decided that the twins absolutely could not be in the same room as poor Jaxson while he’s trying to sleep.

.. So we spend what little money we have on a new room.

Fetia.. why are you eating spoiled food and smiling about it? Just.. eww.

This one’s Coty. He rolls Charmer..

And this one’s Tyson. .. Who also rolls Charmer. Could be worse.

.. And that’s dad, down for the count again. -5.

Poor Jax. At least he’s not sleeping in the mess. -5 again.

… I’m really having trouble here. I should have planned the pregnancy better! Three toddlers at once is.. well.. as much of a nightmare as you’d think.

I was just about to take a picture because all of them were sleeping at once. I spoke slightly too soon. Sigh.

Tyson gazing curiously at dear old Dad. Wondering if this means he’ll get a bath when Jesse wakes up.

Spoiler: he does. Eventually.

And.. this is as good a stopping spot as any!
